JEWELLERY CARE INSTRUCTIONS

When it comes to gold plated jewellery, it is always best to avoid wearing it in water, in particular swimming pools and spas, as chlorine can damage your jewellery in a very short time. This is most important with regards to stone sets and in particular crystal set jewellery. All of jewellery pieces are set in specialised glue that does not react well with water or everyday “chemicals” such as shampoos or perfume.

  • Remove jewellery when showing, bathing and swimming as chlorine can damage your jewellery in a very short time.
  • Avoid spraying perfume and hairspray on gems or pearls, as they will endanger the integrity of the material.
  • Avoid wearing jewellery when doing manual work such as housekeeping, gardening or sports.
  • Jewellery should be removed when applying makeup and cream to prevent residues from entering the texture or gem setting.
  • Store your jewellery at room temperature out of direct sunlight.
  • Clean you pieces regularly and clean them gently with a soft cloth or a soft cotton cloth.
